The hook and loop closure makes it easy to close without worrying about buttons or snaps. It is easy to wipe clean or throw in the wash. Made of wrinkle-resistant poly-cotton material, these bibs come out of the wash looking good as new. These are made up of soft material, but you can wipe the service of any spills like you would plastic. It washes well in the nursing home laundry. The length covers my mom's lap completely and it actually falls to her knees (she's 5' 2"), which is exactly what we wanted. The velcro clasp is not excessively sticky or loud, but is secure and easy for my mom to put on herself. Great product and very well thought out!
