Seriously, I've been looking for a decent 'colonial length ' waistcoat for my pirate costume for some time and this really hit the target. First, it is heavy weight and a kinda rough fabric, what you want and expect from a good costume rather than as stage prop. The length was period correct and the fit was good and adjustable with a well sewn and subdued draw string in back. The brass buttons are a little on the light side, but perfectly adequate to a costume impression (moot to me, as I'm changing them to match my galleon coat anyway). Handling was prompt and shipping was as expected. In conclusion, I would recommend the item itself, and give a strong thumbs up to the vendor.
